Why use DFW Performers?
I, David Slick, have been performing throughout Dallas-Fort Worth since 2002. The experience has taught me the right performer can make an event shine. If I am not the right performer, then I know who is.
How does DFW Performers work?
Simply submit information about your event. You will receive a response about the performers available, what will be performed, and the price. No obligation until you sign the contract.
What if I need to cancel?
The cancellation policy will be explained in your contract. Rescheduling the performance can often be done without a fee.
Can you recommend something?
If you have a seated audience then I recommend a comedy variety show with magic, juggling, balance feats, LED routines, and maybe even fire stunts.
If the performer or the audience is moving (such as a festival environment) then I recommend a stilt walker, balloon twister, or face painter.
Of course, you can mix and match the skills you want performed. Everything will be geared to the age of your audience.
How can I help the performer?
Before the show:
Prepare the performance room by lowering the temperature and clearing lots of space. Entertainers usually just need an electrical outlet. A reserved parking space and water are always appreciated.
During the show:
Have enough adults present to handle misbehaving children. The performer will be more effective at entertaining without physical and verbal interruptions. Performers (even those who work with children) are entertainers, not babysitters.
After the show:
Have payment ready as agreed and supervise children from grabbing props while the performer packs up.
Are your services guaranteed?
Yes! You will not be charged for anything you do not receive. Be aware that reserving a performer is an actual expense because the performer is unable to book other events during that time.
